This is the frame I found that is hinged on one side so that you can open it easily and insert new items as you get them. Works great for displaying my mailart. I think it was originally intended for children's school artwork.

Sharon, Carole and Mel...you three amaze me with your talent! Beautiful Work Ladies! A Joy to behold!
Kristen...thanks for sharing your Mail-Art Frame. That is about the size of my French Message Board that I use. The problem is after a years worth of Mail-Art...then what do you do with them?? That is why I was thinking about Scrapbooking...but the more I thought about it...that isn't the answer either, because the backs of some of the Mail-Art are sometimes as beautiful as the Fronts. So, I have decided to do a Notebook Binder where I can use clear Sheet Protectors to show off both sides. Then I can decorate the Binder however I want. I hope to pass these to my Grand children someday to enjoy. ~ When I was a child, a family friend had put together a Scrap Book of all the Beautiful Cards she had ever received and us kids use to browse through that for hours when we visited her home.

I received a beautiful card from Connie in Kentucky. A vintage Christmas post card sent to Elizabeth from her loving friend Margaret. She monted it on green paper with buttons, lift it up and there,s a little girl and a note inside. I,m thinking of putting it on my tree. Thank you Connie.

Linda I am so glad you liked the vintage postcard/mail art. It is interesting to come across old notes and wishes from yesteryear and wonder about the sender and receiver.

I can't wait to get home and take a picture and put here of a surprise mail art I got from Anna Yates! It's absolutely beautiful!!! I think it is going on the bulletine board next to my desk here at work since it is a calendar for 2011! THANK YOU ANNA! All of these have inspired me to make cards for bunny friends and decided that yes I would send out made Christmas cards too! Guess I'll be very busy this weekend!

I do use the page protectors also so that I can display both sides and put them in their own after a full year of mail art. I love them all! :)

Well, I went to mail Susan's mail art today and I had misspelled the town. I am so sorry but it will be a few more days. We tried every which way but nothing helped. Just 4 little letters wrong. But you will get it soon. You're just over the hill and up the road from me.

Farmgirl sister Gail in Or., I just walked up the long lane to the mailbox, and your mailart was in there. Thank you soooo much, the card is beautiful and I love the jeweled bookmark. I will take a photo soon and post-unless you have a photo already. I love your mail art you made just for me--hugs Kathy
