Beth Jones...you out did yourself Again! Very Very pretty Mail-Art!

Enjoy it Catherine...it is beautiful!

I keep my mail-art displayed on a French Message (Photo)Board during
the year but for 2011...the 2010 Master-Pieces are going into a Scrap Book
and that will make room for the 2011 Mail-Art. They are all so beautiful
and so much time and effort went into each one...I wish I had room to
keep them ALL up! What do some of you other Mail-Artists do with yours?
I am just curious to hear various great ideas.

Blessings,
~peggy

Let's check out Costco for scrapbooks tomorrow and wear ourselves out at the thrift stores. Just about any day next week for crafting. When are you free?

Sharon, I know you're not alone . . ya' outta see MY "create" room. My goodness, what a WRECK!!! It's always this way at Christmas!!!!
Sadly, I cannot come and "play" with you girls, though. I have aprons to make, baby books to make, journals to make, Henhouse stuff to finish . . . and drive 500 miles (one way) for Christmas!!!! AND, that doesn't include a full-time job and trying to keep my house somewhat liveable. But, you have fun!!!
Happy Sunday!

I recently started using the Scotch 3M brand clear mounting squares. They are like the gel stickers you can put on glass and peel off, but more tacky. They hold up the weight of a card real well. My Christmas cards are over a doorway and slowly making their way down the sides lol. I was thinking of doing the same thing with my 2011 mailart. That way, all is out of the way but visible too.

I found this picture frame that is hinged on one side and had a magnetic closure on the other side. It's 11x17'' or so. When I get my monthly mailart I take it and tack it inside the frame on the pushboard backing that came mounted in the frame. I got it at Micheal's but I have seen them other places as well. It make a pretty collage of mailart. When it get full and I have to rearrange or swap out mailart I take the oldest ones out and place them in a scrapbook that I made for all things from Mary Jane's. I'll take a picture and try to post it soon.

Oh, and thanks for my December mailart snowman!!! He's so fluffy and just the cutest :)

I would love to see a picture of it Kristen!
Well, I am glad some of you liked my scrap-booking idea! But I know
like Kristen there have to be some other great ideas out there too.

I had even thought of purchasing an old shutter, and hanging it on the
wall to display them. You could get more on that than on a French Board.

More ideas girls...keep 'em coming!

Robin (C.J's daughter) did you receive my Dec. Mail Art? I know I hound everyone...but I just like to make sure it arrived and all in one piece and that my husband isn't carrying the mail around in his car for weeks. lol

Blessings,
Peggy

I am sure I will like it. Possibly lucky but haven't had ugly mailart yet. Mine went out today to Kathy in Rock, KS. I'm from Kansas so always fun to send there.

I received my December mail art on Saturday from Jill Lillian and it is FABULOUS! So creative! I would have been here sooner to Thank You but we got hit big time with the snow storm here in Washington County and had over a foot fall at my house! It looks like it did during the '98 ice storm! (Don't worry, as another Mainiac she will know what I'm talking about) AND she sent me a bonus too! A great little notebook she made. Thank you Thank you Thank you! Everytime I see them both, they bring a smile to my face and after all our shoveling just to get to the chicken coop, I've needed it! It's absolutely adorable!

Oh I almost forgot, I started a 3-ring binder with articles from MJF magazine I had scanned from a friends older issues and I now have all my cards in there too, in nice plastic sleeves so they don't get ruined. That way I can add pages as needed.

Great idea! I wasn't sure what to do with all the great pieces I've received, plus all the good articles from the magazine, some of which I have plastered all over the kitchen (refrigerator, with magnets). Your idea is much better. Thank you!

I received a wonderful little handmade scrapbook to keep Christmas photos in from Monica Hayden. Can't post a photo and I do an inadequate job describing it, but I love it. You all are so talented! and everything has been beautiful. It almost inspires me to take up scrapbooking, but then my craftroom would be inmpossible to get thru. Merry Christmas everyone!
