Hey everyone, my August mailart was from our very own CJ herself!
How do you like the sunflower motif. Really nice since it came a couple of weeks after I moved over here to Loveland, CO. All I have to do is drive a few miles east and I can look at all the lovely sunflowers on the roadsides!

And I got my September mail art already!
Gail sent this large piece with pictures of a tree in her Tennessee backyard turning shades of red and gold.
Even the envelope had fall colors!
Very nice to find on the doorstep after a long day of job hunting.

Such creative pretty mail art, ya'll. I noticed this morning with the way cooler temps, that it is feeling more and more like fall here. And the smell is changing also. There are alot of leaves falling and some places look like they need raked alreay. I just love this time. I can't wait to see trees like those in Gail's art. Pretty soon now!

Well, it's not mail art, but it is from one sweet Mail Artist . . Peggy J. . . aka . . "pegabner".
She sent me a package with some pink ribbon breast cancer awareness bracelets, a coin from Canada, some stick-ons and some Relay for Life items. THANKS PEGGY for sharing your "goodies" with us.
Robin and I bave also participated in Relay for Life events. I actually was event chair for two years for our local event.

Beautiful Fall Mail Art Girls! It is beginning to feel like it isn't it?
I am still waiting for a little inspiration to whop me along side the head...
but I am leaning towards a fall theme too. Started collecting some local on
the ground Nature Art a couple of weeks ago to include.
Hopefully it will pop out of my head and on to paper soon!

Hey Mail Artists . .
This is just a suggestion . . .
. . .when you post pics that include an address, it might be good to cover the address. You could use a sticky note which would come right off.
That would keep that info off of this public forum.

Sandi,
I did receive your creative mail art and apologize for not letting you know sooner.
The card is a collage of wheat fields (Palouse), farm equipment and even a dusting airplane. The caligraphy is beautiful too.

Oh My! How thrilled I was when I stopped by the post office this morning and found a beautiful mail art waiting for me. This one was from my Angel, sending me a August Mail Art, since I didn't get one previously.
It is so pretty and as soon as I get home I will take a picture and upload it so you can all see it. Until then I'll tell you about it: It has yellow gingham material with Happy Fall written on it, and some lovely crocheted orange pumpkins stitched on the material. She also put in a packet of herbal tea, hooray for Angels and Fall!!!

I received a beatiful piece of mail are yesterday - it's from Sandi in Idaho. It's beautiful Sandi - I might have to frame it and hang it in my studio.

Terri . . you can resize through Photobucket by using the "edit" button. Then go to the "resize" . . it's pretty easy once you find it.
