I got the sweetest card from Terri Holland. With the cutest paper doll. And a sweet card. Thank you . It is going on my bullet board in my computer room with the other ones. They are fun to see everyday. It helps me get through some hard times.

Monica, I went to meet some farmgirls in Alpharetta yesterday to meet Mary Jane. I met Ruth (Violetrose) and Kerrieann there. I rode down with kelly Wall who I already knew. We met MJ at a really pretty restataunt later. But when I got home at midnight I checked the mailbox and I got your beautiful mail art! I am so glad I got it last night. It is so creative. I love the Fla. pictures. I was so glad that was an alligator and not a snake! Thank you. But that little girl with the pigtails is adorable. Who is that? And the don't quit poem is great. I need that for sure. I just started walking and I will put it somewhere so I can read it every day. You are so sweet. And thanks for the little note too. I love it all. ANd of course now I will know who I am talking to! Your picture is beautiful! You are so cute. I like getting a picture so I can know who you all are. Thank you again.

Hope you have fun with Mail Art . . .and be sure to browse around in this thread and see pics of things that have been sent/received.
I will put "hard copy" of the guidelines in the regular mail to you to go out tomorrow. It is too late for the August "round" but I will be sending emails at the end of August with the name and address of the person you will send to.
You will SEND to a DIFFERENT person each month.
You will RECEIVE from a DIFFERENT person each month.
You will RECEIVE from a DIFFERENT person than you send to.
It is not a one-on-one swap.

I received a beautiful and very creative piece of mail art on Friday from Melanie Peterson. It's a vegetable garden made entirely from felt. It's such a cute and clever idea! Thanks Melanie.

Farmgirl's I love hearing about all your wonderful experiences getting cards but where are all the pictures!!! I know it takes some time to figure out how to use photobucket but please share....we love to see what everyone is doing! Thanks!

I agree-I love viewing the photos too, and photobucket is really not that difficult-just load them to photobucket-click on edit-than click on size-I make mine medium, make a copy to your album-and then just click on that last link over to here-(under the photos)

I finished my mail art tonight~ Was so much fun to make. Will get in the mail tomorrow~ Whew I cut it a bit close didn't I?
I will have to explore photobucket and get that figured out so I can share the treasures I get in the mail!

I received a gorgeous water color postcard from OneCraftyBugger, Robin. It is a branch of blueberries with green leaves. It is just lovely, Robin. You are such an artist! That is one thing I can't do - no drawing or painting. I'm a stick figure kind of gal! So I appreciate those of you who have that talent. Very pretty. I think I may put it in a little frame. Thanks so much.

My mailart will be postmarked the 17th, :(. Have it ready to go and I can't believe that it didn't make it to the post office today but it wasn't because I didn't try!! What a wierd day, week, month for that matter! Am so anxious for my Farmgirl Sister to get it. Just about as anxious for that as I am to find mine in the mailbox!! :)! Even though I know I have mailart on the way to my house it is still an exciting surprise when it finally gets here!
Forgive me girls! It will be out tomorrow!
Also... I am asking for prayer requests for my little 83yr. old Mama. I live with and take care of her and she is very sick right now. I firmly believe in the power of prayer. Thanks ya'll.
