Jeannie...I went to your blogsite and checked out the Mail-Art to get an idea of what people had done in the past. You were blessed with some pretty amazing ART! I also wanted you to know that my Maiden name was Pierce, how about that? We have something in common besides being Farm Girl Sisters! And I am a Christian also.
Blessings, ~Peggy

oh, and here is a suggestion. When you get mail art, keep the envelope it came in! I am glad I did. They were often works of art, too and had addresses on them.

Did a half gaynor off a ladder last week and cracked my tailbone...so my mail art is going to get in RIGHT at the deadline!! Was a bit of a delay in the production process. That's the one thing about art...it's easier to do if you can sit down. <g> Just so no one thinks I've forgotten !!

Monica,
You need to set up and account with Photobucket, which is free, and then go through it to upload, edit and post your pics to the forum. Gabe had good instructions in the Tech Support section on the forum. Let me know if you have questions, etc.

I can't even upload my pics to Snapfish without help from the kids, but I'll give Photobucket a try. I want to post pictures! Dianne

I've been having a problem with lack of motivation. I think it goes along with being down with the crud bug, but I am up and getting back in the swing of things. Just wanted to let ya'll know- I promise I have not forgotten my partner! I have my mail art started and will get it finished up tonight and off in the mail tomorrow.
BTW-- I just love seeing the pictures of everyones mail art!! What talented ladies we have at MJF!!!

You have until the 15th to mail your art . . .I'm sure your creative "juices" will help you create something wonderful.

I received the most BEAUTIFUL mail art yesterday from Monicarose in Fla. I wish I could post pictures. You wouldn't believe it! It's a sweet my friend journal book made from brown paper sacks folded to make pockets holding beautiful tags, sayings, keepsakes, things to use in scrapbooking. I LOVE it! It was beautifully done and wrapped and mailed in the prettiest paper. Thank you so much Monica. |

this sounds like so much fun I can't wait to get started. I am new to this site so I hope that I know what to do. I love anything paper or old. It is a good rainy day project such as today is. |

Jessie, The mail art it whatever . . . You can make up something really artsy and write a note on the back . . . or make it a really creative card that you write in. Or, you make a card that they can use, but write a note separately. Pretty much anything goes . . .just be creative and have fun. Hope that makes sense!! CJ

Hey another Peggy...Welcome! I just did my first mail-art piece today and had so much fun making it. I have to show it off to a few friends before I mail it off though. I am going to enjoy doing this every month. Another way to let those creative juices flow. BUT I am even more excited to see what I get this month!
Oleta...your journal book sounds so fabulous! Wish you could post a picture...but I haven't got that figured out yet either. I may have to post to my blogsite like so many others do.
