Sounds great to me, I have some Idaho dirt and wild flowers to send, as soon as they bloom. What a great idea. I also like the one of the terrarium made with dirt from other states.
What a great time I am having with all the farmgirl things going on. I just got a package from a farmgirl in MI when I opened it up was like a great big hug. And since dirt is so important to all of us what a great swap.

I totally cracked up at this!!! Channah, you make me smile! I think the dirt idea is so great! I am envisioning a science fair project for me and the kids!!!!! I love it! Count me in! I'd love to get some dirt from all over the us! I'm gonna investigate this petosky rock thing too! I'm intrigued!!!

My hubby just doesn't get us, thinking about "shipping dirt around the country", he just isn't into it is he? ha. I get it and I love the idea. Woo Hoo dirt under my nails for another state.

I can send dirt to as many people who want it! HA! Keep me posted! :) My dirt is just starting to peak through the snow! It could be a while before any will be mailable! Late spring/early summer is best for us up here!

I would LOVE to have some good black dirt from either Kansas or Mo. or Wy. I can't remember what state we went through on the way to Colorado, but I almost jumped out of the car and rolled in it. It was that beautiful. People think I am crazy for going on about dirt. But I am telling ya'll, that wa ssome beautiful rich black dirt. Anyone from those states doing the swap? I'll trade some nice red Ga. clay. You can actually make a pot with it. Good stuff. Just not so good for growing things. I could add some cow or goat poo to it.
And I think I might just have to take 2 partners on this one, please, Miss Channah Lou. Thanks for doing this.

Hi Sharon, You can choose as many partners as you wish. You can have 1,2,4 or 5 partners. And you at least need to send 2 nature items to each partner you have. Does that make since?
