Ok, I think I got everyone. YAY!! Let me know if I missed someone or you can't find your partner. Have fun!! Hugs, Channah
Hi Everyone! So sorry it has taken me so long to update this.
Sign up ends July, 12th. Please, please remeber when you sign p to put how many partners you would like to swap with. :)
I will post partners on July 13th so please remember to check back here and see who your partner is. :)
Mail by date will be July 30th. If you need more time to mail your surprise please let your parnter(s) know.
Remember to send at least 2 nature surprises to each of your partners. You can send more if you would like but no less than 2. :)
please make sure that your nature surprises are well wraped so they don't break or get damaged by the mail.
Remember this is a nature swap so it can be anything you find in nature. You can send a little baggie of dirt but Please don't fill a box full of just dirt. If your partner does not want any dirt please be mindful of that and don't send any. You can send other things like shells, wildflowers, cool shaped rockes, etc. If you want to decorate something like a rock please go ahead.
I think this covers it. If at any time something comes up and you are no longer able to be in the swap Please e-mail me before the 12th so I know not to partner you up. If you would like to change the number of partners that you would like please feel free to e-mail me or post here and I will change it for you. If you don't see your name on the list below Please let me know. I don't want anyone to miss out on this swap.
Again, if you have any questions please feel free to e-mai me or post here. Hugs!! Channah

Well Channah! You know I'm in. I think this is one of my most favorite ideas as we will tie us farm sisters together in an "earthy" level. I don't care how you choose to do...either to one or to all. Whatever others wish. I 'spose my preference is to all as long as the postage wouldn't get too much with sending a larger amount of dirt (no more than a cup) or heavier rock etc.

Oooo Channah I would love this!! I am just starting to get into collecting things from nature- we have lots of different pine trees here, and just up the road is Chimney Bluffs with beautiful stones everywhere.... I love leaves, ferns, etc.!!! Karrieann- you got me thinking about having a terrarium- with dirt in it, layers of dirt from farmgirls. Georgia clay, red dirt from out west, etc... And, I could put things in there that everyone sends to me!!!

Not only our wonderful dirt from Eastern Washington, but I have some small porous volcanic rock from some backpacking into the Glacier Peak wilderness area...mid state of Washington, & a few pieces of red rock around Nevada City Montana and Virginia City Montana. I would like to share some of these little rocks with those from other parts of the country. I am hoping we get to share with more than one. Can hardly wait!!!

I would like to do this, but no dirt, please. I like ferns, flowers, old bird's nests, leaves, etc. I think I would like to do just one because I'm involved in a few things here now, but whatever you decide is fine with me. |

Channa, I'm so glad to know you from the farmgirls. I'm 57 & I still don't make friends easily, but I feel like I know you & other farm girls. Have you ever seen a Petosky stone...

Count me in too. The boys will love driving into the hills behind our house to find some lovely wild sunflowers (I'm now thinking they may be jeruselum artichokes) and indian paintbrush. I could even send someone a bit of sagebrush. lol

I had no idea what a Petosky stone was until I looked it up. Thanks Rise for talking about them so that I could learn about these interesting stones.

Channah, I have been thinking about this swap. And I think I have some cute ideas now. I have a book of homemade nature type gifts to make with things in your garden or yards. So I think I would like to join this swap, please.

This is such a great idea, please count me in. Whenever we travel, our greatest souveniers are those we have found out in nature.
Would love to start a little dirt collection!
Thank you, Channah, for such a fun idea!
