Glad it got there safely, Debbie, & glad you like it! Would you like me to post a picture of it, or are you able to do that?

Hi Judy,
I got my parcel yesterday but didn't open it until this morning. What a lovely suprize: you totally spoilt me with this swap and I truly appreciate your kindness and lovely work.
I will try to post pictures tomorrow if I can figure it out.
Thankyou so, so much,
Nicola

Thanks for your patience,

Thanks, y'all! It was a bread cloth that I found at Goodwill. I also bought a plastic tote bag and robbed the handles from it. Total cost: $3.00

The knitted bag is great. I used it at the farmer market this weekend. And the canvas bag is here with me at work. It is great for carring all my papers and books I bring with me.

Oh No! My totes are still not mailed. Sorry to my swap partners. I hurt my back at weekend and am just starting to get around. I was lifting a drum of coconut oil. This farmgirl stuff can be dangerous :)
Poor Judy! I am worrying about your nails. I hope to get out really quickly to mail these or try to con my hubby into going for me.
Sorry!

Hi Anna,
I would be happy to share the tote pattern. I found it on line and made some changes to it. I'll copy it down and let you know so I can send it to you.It may take a little time, some of the things I altered I just kinda winged it.
A word of caution, the first tote I made I used acrylic yarn and boy does it S-T-R-E-C-H!!. Even with the cotton yarn it still streches alot. Works great for paper goods.
Liz
PS Anna I read what happened to you and mammashaw with the pot holders, let me send you some so you can see how fun it is.

Kathy,
I'm happy you like the bags. I love mine. Thanks for posting the photos. I'm so bad on the computer other than typing stuff. I'm still trying to get my son to post the photo of yours on here.

chick-chick, you must have a HUGE heart to care about my pot holder disappointment. . . it does MY heart good to encounter pure souls such as yourself. I do appreciate your kindness; but, you know what, if you'd share your tote pattern w/ me I'd be all better :) You could just forward the website - you don't have to go to all the trouble to reconstruct your changes - I'm a knitter and make the same spur-of-the-moment changes. Sometimes it's impossible to remember what I did! Thank you, my dear, for caring!

Yep! Got your tote today - thank you. Do you think the glue you used for the patches will hold up to washing? Don't want to mess with it. I'll post pics if you'd like.

Anna- It should. I probably wouldn't put it in the dryer, but the washer should be okay.
