I am finally going to make that garden and want it to be organic. Is there a reliable online source for organic plants that you ladies have used and been happy with. I don't have time to do everything from seeds this year. Thanks!! Also I live in NE PA where Everything is ROCKY. Any advice?

I have been unable to find organic transplants and infact it is hard enough to find the seeds I want. I ordered all of my organic seeds from 5 different catalogs. and ,yes , I had to start them all myself. My cellar is full of plants under lights. I do not think there is a source for organic plants unless you can find an organic farm that will sell you its overstock.

Try Territorial Seeds in Oregon. They have seeds but may have plants too. If not you could easily start your own from their seeds. I was able to find organic potting mix at a local nursery yesterday.

Hi, I was just given a catalog by a friend called FEDCO in Maine. They are organic AND are genetic free!! If you're not familiar with that term,it basically means that certain companies are now trying to make seeds NOT produce from year to year.Isn't that strange, but yes it can be done.Sooo, please try to keep this in mind when looking at seed catalogs. We NEED to keep heritage plants producing. There are still lots of things you can start now.Greens,carrots,potatoes,etc.
