March is Women's History Month. Who, among all the women who shaped this country in times past, would you like to honor this month?

Eleanor Roosevelt comes to mind for me.

I was thinking the same thing! There are so many wonderful women who are great that it is hard to choose one.

Mother Teresa! What a woman! She inspired me with all her Good Deeds and Love of Others! A very Selfless Woman!

Closer to home...my great aunt who actually got arrested for "porn" because she was helping with pamphlets for women's health in the 1920's. She died about 10 years ago at the age of 99. Talk about an amazing woman, who in her own, quiet way, helped shape our history.

I would like to honor Sacajawea, the Indian woman who accompanied Lewis & Clark on their voyage of discovery. she acted as an interpreter when they met other Indians and saved their lives more than once. I think she must have had a very adventurous spirit. Also Amelia Earhart. I admire women who aren't afraid to pursue a life considered extreme by most people.
