Hi Ladies,
I've recently had problems with my dwarf nandinas. A couple of weeks ago I noticed some of my plants were leaning. After further investigation, I saw their roots had been eaten. Not all of the plants were affected. I have 5 on one end of a retaining wall and 5 at the other end. I have a large bed between the two and was getting ready to plant. I'm not sure now what I should do. We have several small holes in the area maybe 10 feet from the nandinas. I thought possibly a critter of some type might be the problem. Has anybody else had this problem and what did you do?

I don't know anything about nandinas, but I do know that we have gopher issues where I live, and it sounds like it might be the same thing. Are they just going after one particular plant, or do you have the "telltale holes" in other places, too?

XOXO, Libbie
