I just can't stop cleaning today (well, I guess I stoped long enough to post this message LOL!!) I am cleaning things, that I normally can't even be bothered to clean. I have noticed I have been this way the past few months, only during PMS. Does anyone else get the urge to clean when they have PMS?

Yes Melanie I have PMS cleaning syndrom as well. I usually can't sit still for 5 minutes. I have been feeling low energy during this cycle but I am going to the doctor to find out why. Embrace it!!!

Not so much with PMS, but when I am feeling stressed I get into a cleaning frenzy to the point that DH knows immediately when he walks in the door at night that something is bothering me! |

Melanie, not so much PMS anymore, but I do have those spurts of cleaning energy hit me and that's all I can do. I actually cleaned the house real good a few weeks ago AND washed windows, too! I was very impressed with me. But it does feel good toget in that "mood" and clean real good.
Yeah, and how long would it take you to get to N. Ga? Would the PMS be gone by the time you got here? We could sit and have a nice cuppa tea. And bring little Oliver, too.

I am a big fan of new cleaning products. I have to try all the new stuff. I know we try to be organic here at MJF but the new Pledge Multisurface is really great. I find that if I bring home something new or plan a get together at my house it gives me the lift off my butt needed to get things on order.

YES!!!! I get the same way. Sadly, it doesn't last long! (I'm glad the PMS doesn't last) But wish the cleaning would!
I've often wondered if it's part of the "nesting" thing like women do when we're pregnant? I'd love to harness it and keep it going all month long. I'm such a slacker.

It's not PMS for me, but this week I've been going wild! Digging in closets, cleaning out cabinets and sorting through craft stuff, washing curtains, ironing, the list goes on. And I love to sit down at night and even though you can't see alot of what I've done, I know IT IS! And I've been sleeping like a baby this week and I'm usually a 4-5 hr sleeper. I think I'm in that, "birthing period" knowing I may be getting surgery on my back and I want everything done before hand. So I have today to do more and tomorrow to the doctor. If I don't slow down I won't be able to walk into his office! hahaha But the old saying is, Cleanlyness is next to Godlyness, and I'm trying!!hahaha Have a good day girls!
Blessings, Brenda |
