Hello to all the farmgirls out there. Have you ever made or wanted to make your own hand crafted soaps? Well I'm hoping this topic will be a place to learn and meet others with the same interest. I have been making my own hand made goat milk soaps for about 8 years now, and really would love to meet all the other farmgirls who share the passion of hand crafted soaps. I have been raising dairy goats for 10 years and started making natural goats milk soap as a 4H project. Since then I'm now to old to be in 4H but have continued to make and sell my soaps. And just yesterday I dove into making liquid soap for the first time and it came out great! I hope to put some liquid soaps with my bar soaps for sale.
Hey Sarah. There are a few places already started about soap making. In Cleaning Up it's under Soap Making Advice. And in Home Safe Home under Anyone Making Their Own Soap? And also there is a new Hen House called Sassy Soapers in the Framgirl Chapter Chatter.
Also we have a thread in the Barnyard called All Things Dairy. Come on over and we'll talk goats all day! I can talk goats all day. I love my girls. Can't wait to have kids and get back to the milking routine again. We have about 5 weeks to go now.
