I posted this in the Farm kitchen too but thought maybe there would be some input in this blog also, So if you are reading this twice I appologize! I am thinking about trying to publish a cookbook...Has anyone done this?

Did it for a fundraiser for our firefighters association. Typed it all in publisher. Put the pictures in there too. I had it printed and cut at Office Depot. Then used a binder to put the plastic comb binding in. It was cheaper to do the binding ourselves.
Now, if you are thinking on a much larger scale.... we only did several hundred. Made a chunk of change for the association tho!
Are you going to self publish or go through a publishing house? I publish the Farmgirl Connection cookbook here and used lulu.com. If you plan to gotheough a publishing house I hear that it is a very difficult market unless you've got some truly original idea. Good luck!
