Hi Megan Well, my first attempt was a disaster! LOL!! So, it was back to the starting block and this time it is looking much better.
I am about half way done. . . might get an opportunity to work on it later today and tomorrow. My one challenge, how to cast off. Every attempt during practice pieces was horrible I will just keep at it and hopefully that will "click" like the knitting and casting on has.
Hope you post a picture of your finished dishcloth for me to see!

Joanna- the casting off will come easier the more you do! I should have had pictures of me doing it the first few times! And, it was so stressful for me that I would do a few, then have to put it down and go back to it later. I just kept thinking I was going to drop stitches....I didn't, and at least now if I did, I would know what to do.
The last dishcloth I finished the cast off stitches looked exactly the same as the cast on stitches, lol, so I know I am making progress!
Let us know how it goes.....

Well we have snow today and I have no where to go. So I get to stay home and tackle my house finally. I'm just going to start in front and work my way back. But I'm also doing all the spring cleaning so it will probably take me all week. I'm alittle slow at what I do right now. So I guess any project I finish will be success.

Today I get to work on mother's day gifts and a Bday present for my grand-niece, also on mother's day. I'm scrap-booking little albums for each. I started this with my niece last year and brought her to tears at Christmas with the huge one I gave her of all her photos. She had none of her childhood, so I found them! This year she get's a small one of her youngest son (1-year bday party). I did her daughter no-bake cookies last year. My sister is getting one of her grandkids since she was in Germany this year and didn't get to come back for Xmas. And my grand niece gets a cooking one of herself. Spent a lot of time in the kitchen with her at Christmas and got some really fun photos, especially at the grocery store. I know everyone was probably wondering what I was doing, but I had a plan!

Since today is National Quilting Day (who knew?), I'm finished up the quilt top to "Boot Scootin' Baby". I just need to sew the blocks together and put the borders on. I can't wait to finish it!

I've just started knitting a lace buttlerfly dish cloth and I am tackling two quilts. One is already pieced and I just have to get going on the quilting and the other I am starting to piece today. I usually do every step of my quilts by hand so this is going to take some time. Thanks for sharing everyone. I always love to see what all you girls are working on.

Love the blanket. Gals, today we stopped at a moving sale. Of course, my eyes were drawn to the fabric (only one left), and of course dh's eyes rolled as I asked him for a few dollars so that I could purchase the fabric. I bought over 8 yards of gorgeous country fabric for $5.00. Yeah!!!

Joanna Sassy really loves the cat bed-had I known I would've looked for one much sooner.
Thank you for the compliments on the knitting! Do you subscribe to "knit simple" magazine? They have a lot of wonderful patterns that are easy to do.

I have been working on dishcloths for a couple of weeks now. I started off using Peaches & Cream 100% cotton yarn but I didn't like the weight of the finished dishcloth. I made those three into potholders! Now I am using two strands of crochet cotton held together and I really like the weight. Only one more to go and I will have a full week's worth! Next will be some embroidered dish towels.

Those are really cute - I have a dishcloth that I started but I am such a slow knitter that it isn't very rewarding so it sits in my knitting basket, waiting....
Today I think I'm going to cut out more aprons - I'm on an apron jag - and maybe sew a couple. That's after I finish my chores:)
