It was such a lovely, pleasant day here, I just had to take the opportunity to get some gladiola bulbs, dahlias bulbs and my two rose bushes into ground. With all the stress of dealing with my grandma and her dementia lately (especially last few days), getting out in the sun, digging in the dirt and planting hope was so therapeutic. It's that much easier to be optimistic when you see tulips peeking out of the earth in February.

Wow, I am surprised that you could work in the dirt! The ground is frozen solid here. I did buy some bulbs today though. They were gladiola bulbs. It is suppose to be around 50 degrees this weekend. My pack of bulbs said to wait until the middle of March for our area. It is exciting just to think about Spring being a short time away!!!

Kimberly Ann, I'm a bit jealous, getting so antsy to get out and work in the soil but we've got close to two feet of snow on the ground yet. I'm glad you are getting a chance to get out in your garden though, its the best stress buster I've found. My thoughts and prayers are with you though this hard time, its so hard to be losing someone you love a bit at a time! Susan
