LOL!! You would think that, however, most are transplants from the city and there is a good turnover of people. Things look "romantically beautiful" here until you decide to live here year round and discover just how tough a lifestyle it is! We get a chuckle out of it too. You know the ones that can pull through and make it work and those that won't last until spring.

You know, they thought to do something so nice themselves, so they don't want to praise you. And they probably don't even know how to start. Find you some nice friends that you share ideas with and have fun!!

My girls and best friend all think I'm a bit nuts. I said something about composting and my BF said I'd be sorry because they smell so bad. When I put up my clothes line I got crap from everyone, too, but I'm loving my hot pink clothes line. I'm putting in a garden this year and planning on canning and preserving and of course, "mom's lost it". Oh, well, when I have my cellar full and they have to come begging, we'll see. I do want to put in a place for bees, too. I'm thinking out behind the privacy fence.

Oh, I would love to have bees!! Need to build up a good supply of things that flower for them. . . although the local honey bees seem to love our raspberries and blackberries while waiting on the next batch of clover to blossom. I love that you have a pink clothes line too!
