Are dealing with cabin fever I suspect. Yesterday when we finally got a sun break, I ran out and opened the coop door allowing the girls to get out of their yard and out into the back.. One of them started running and squaking like she was "on fire". I think, like me she was just so thrilled to see the sun!!!

Circumstances made us FRIENDS; MaryJanesFarm made us SISTERS :)

Rene,
My chickens don't like the snow and won't go out even if it's sunny and warm (but still snow on the ground). I have to brush the snow off to the dirt for them to finally jump out the door. Otherwise they peek their heads out, look around, look at me and say, "You expect me to go out in that stuff?!?"LOL

I have one like that... we call her princess. I swear the girls would wear a tiara if I gave her one... But, she is a good layer and nester, so what am I to do....? LOL
