Bucksnort, TN Hell, NY (I figgered it'd be funny to say that I'd been to Hell and back in my big rig) A lot of the towns I was going to post have already been posted. There is a website that wants to know all the strange names. If you want to see some funny, ribald, risque names, take a look at some of the Australian names.

There is a town near me called Between Ga, I guess because it is between Loganville and Monroe.

Let's see in Colorado, there's Hygiene and Punkin Center and Raymer and New Raymer (I always wondered why they felt they needed a "new" Raymer. Some of the best though are the mountain names such as Granny's Nightcap and Granny's Nipple.

From my home state- Cos Cob, Ct Mystic , CT Bedlam Corner, CT Bean Hill, CT ( now incorporated to Norwich, CT) Then there's French Lick, IN ( remember Larry Bird?) Burnt Prairie, IL Sandwich, MA Oatmeal, TX ( nearby to where I live) Santa, ID (where I visited friends) Rough and Ready, CA Hurricane, UT ( I've been there , too) and a heavenly place on Earth- Angels Camp, CA Mary LD

Well West Virginia has its share of weird names here are a few:Big Chimney, Big Ugly,Paw, Lost City, War, Man, Friendly, Kermit, Quick, Pinch, Odd, Looneyville,and my favorite name....HooHoo! heehee

I'm glad Humptulips, WA already made it on this list!!! Also like Sammamish,WA, Snohomish,WA , Issaquah,WA and Couer d Alene, ID because they are so hard to say unless you are from here! Cashmere, WA must be nice and soft and Bliss, ID must be full of happy people.
