I was twenty-one. My two oldest boys are 23 and 22. When I see them, I think, "What in the heck was I thinking", but twenty-five years later we are still holding on.. Guess we made the right choices...

Circumstances made us FRIENDS; MaryJanesFarm made us SISTERS :)

I was 21 the first time I got married. Sadly it didn't work out as well for me as it did for Rene. I really don't think I had any business getting married that young. I was 28 the second time and it has made a world of difference (plus, I married the right person this time)! :)

Well, I was an old gal. 29 :-) I had 3 prior offers of marriage and an engagement at 19 (scary to even think about). But I was happy enough on my own till the 4th one came around in his big ole black Texas truck (his version of the knight in shining armor). Channah when do you think is a good/proper age to be married?

I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion.

I was 23 and so young! I can't believe my wonderful luck at having found my soul-mate at such a tender age! Twenty seven years later we are still each others world and sometimes I can't believe how far we've come.

I married my high school sweetheart at the ripe age of just 20. I have three beautiful birth children. Sadly he enjoyed not only having a wife and children he also need a few flings on the side. So after 15 years he left. I then adopted our 2 foster children who are equally as beautiful bringing my child number to 5. Was set up on a blind date with with in a few months of being single (NOT MY IDEA)well that was 16 years ago. He never had his own children nor did he wish to have any, but he stuck it out and did an awesome job stepping in as a male role model. We were married 5 years ago when my youngest was almost 18. It has been a wonderful ride and a very happy marriage as we had the 11 years before hand and many situations presented to us by 5 children and X's that will not go away. Life is awesome and I am so great-full for my DH. Have had to learn to trust and let others help. He puts me on a pedestal tries to make my every wish come true. Guess that was God's plan! First the toad and then the Prince.

You know I really don't know. My mom got married at 36 and my dad was 30 and boy do they have a wonderful and blessed marriage. They are still very much in love!! They have been married 20 years. I just hope I am blessed someday like they were. I don't mind waiting. Even if I have to wait till I'm 50 I will. I hope I will marry someone like my dad who is the greatest!!

I was also 27. My sons are 30 & 31 and my 30 year old is getting married in June and hopefully the following year I will be gramma.
My 31 yr old is thinking hard about getting married he also wants a child or two and he was a wonderful girlfriend so I hope he at least gets engaged.
They both wanted to be able to support their wives and provide them with a nice house before they had babies. I think as long as your able to provide for a family any age past 22 is good to get married at. Don't be in a hurry.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

I was 20, my hubby was 23. We met in Jan. of 1981, started courting by the end of Feb, engaged end of March, married July 4. First daughter the following June. We were married 27 years, 5 months and 10 days until his passing. Wonderful and blessed years!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

I was 16, and he was 19. When he passed, we had been married 34 years, and it was perfect the whole time.

I got married to my best friend when I was 32. We met on match.com and I'm so glad I waited to get married. I had a couple of suitors to ask before I met him but I said 'no' to them.

The first time I was 2 months short of my 20th birthday and such a disappointment to my mom and the "old maid" of my crowd. Didn't bother me at all 'cause it only lasted 2 years. Then I got married at 28 and was married for 15 years until he died. I married DH when I was 43, but I've known him for almost 30 years, so I guess it was meant to be.
