I just spoke with my daughter who informed me that I will this fall be a Nana again! She has difficulty getting pregnant, so this is a real answer to prayer. My first grand baby is now 16 months.

I am very excited!!!! Being a Nana is the best!!!!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Oh Julia how exciting for you!!! I'm a Nana too, and I love it! My 7th grand baby(my two oldest daughters)- a boy, should be here sometime in the next week or so! It's been amazing this time around, because his sisters and cousins are pretty much all old enough to know what is going on and be so excited for him to get here! He is going to be one spoiled baby!
Congrats!

Thanks Channah, we are so very excited! My middle dayghter and her hubby hope to soon give news of their own.

Brenda, It is amazing to me how incredible being a Nana is. I love my little grandson so much, my arms ache sometimes for him. I hope to have bushels of grand-ones some day. this having to be patient is no fun sometimes!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Congratulations! But I have to admit just a little twinge of jealousy, my three kids are grown but no grandkids yet. The first will be married in June. The other two seem to be in serious realtionships. Grandbabies are just a wish for now. I'm trying to wait patiently, but friends are sharing the joys of grandparenthood.

Thanks girls! I get to go spend the weekend with my grandson,(and his parents), and plan on lots off snuggles.

CindyLou, i totally understand. I had to wait 5 years for my first one, but it was well worth it!

Oh now see Julia you will have a whole passel of grandbabies before you know it at this rate!!! :)
My oldest daughter had her oldest daughter 8 years and 2 weeks ago. 8 years ago today my second daughter was married and got pregnant on her honeymoon. In the summer of that year my oldest daughter discovered she was pregnant again! So we have Emma- 8 years and 2 weeks, Ella- 7 years and 1 1/2 months, and Isabelle, who will be 7 April 3! It was a very exciting year for us!
The new baby has decided he is going to have his great grampa's laid back personality and is not ready to make an appearance yet. He was due on the 15th and my daughter will be going in tomorrow night to be induced. Can't wait to see him!
Here is a picture of the 6 grandbabies so far:

And that's me in the middle! :)

Congratulations, Julia! How wonderful!
We will be grandparents for the first time in April. Our daughter and her husband are expecting a little girl. We are SO excited! I have so many clothes and books for our precious little girl...it's rather embarrassing. DD had a 3D ultrasound recently. It was absolutely amazing! I didn't think I could bond any closer to this little girl...but that ultrasound had me in tears through the entire thing. I will have the privilege to be in the room when our daughter gives birth. I had no idea that I would feel just like I did when our own precious children were born. Pure bliss!

Brenda, thank you for sharing your picture. Your grandchildren are so beautiful...and so are you!
