Hi all,
I'm a new chat board member. Have "lurked" for a few months when I have had time. Since moving to Moscow, ID from Albuquerque, NM last summer I have become more interested in what you all are doing and thought I'd join. There seem to be plenty of interesting folks here. Would love to hear from those of you in this part of ID/WA. Am eager to meet people and get involved. My husband works at WSU and I telecommute to my job in ABQ, so working full time has put a bit of a damper on our ability to meet people. Am really excited to meet some of you locally, as well as the rest of you on this wonderful cyber-farm :) I grew up in Eureka, MT but have lived in Japan, CA, and NM since leaving. We are very happy to be back in the Northwest! -Amy

Hi Amy,

Welcome. I'm up in Rathdrum (near Coeur d'Alene). Glad to have you join in. There are so many wonderful people here. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I'm gonna try to come to the Farm Fair this summer. I haven't been to Moscow since 2003, when my daughter moved to Seattle. I really love the feel of Moscow. There are a lot of interesting people there and lots to do.

Welcome Amy! I've never been to Idaho but I'm going to Farm Fair this year so maybe we'll meet. If you ever venture south to Salt Lake City, drop in for lunch!

Hey, Amy!

Welcome!

I'm in Spokane Valley and work in northern Idaho. My very first job was with the Forest Service in, of all places (small world!), Eureka, Montana! I was there for the summer of 1977 and lived in a trailer just off the highway near Crystal Lake (is that the name of it?) near Fortine.

The older I get, the more I love prairie type places -- with forested mountains in the backdrop, especially! I LOVE the Palouse and Columbia Basin!

Hope to hear more from you.

Karin

Good Morning Amy!

I bet you have lots to share about all the different places you've lived. Are you hoping that your roots will hold onto ID ? Well, no matter where you go, you'll always have roots here at the Farm.

Commuting to Albuquerque....wow! Trains, Planes or Automobiles?

You mentioned that you visit this site when you have the time. Well, you are part of the family now and you just come back however often you can. We'll all be waiting to hear about your adventures.

Blessings
Catherine
