Well, I tried it, I really did try to give it go but I just couldn't take the smell. I picked up a box of organic roasted dandelion root tea at the store today but it doesn't ring my bell. Did I do something wrong, like steep it too long? (ten minutes)

Didn't know you could drink it. Have dyed wool with it though. Not the tea...just the roots. |

Oh Kimberly, I just love dandelion root tea. I mix it with other teas usually for a system-cleanse/detox. Try mixing it with something that YOU really like....one of the mints maybe or cimmanon, orange, cloves, whatever flavor you like. I'm a big coffee drinker so I think it's a good substitute some days when I've had enough coffee. :-)

I agree with Judy. Use it as a basic tea and add something like cinnamon. Have you tried Honey? I love it....You know, it may be the brand too. I'm pretty particular about the time of year it is harvested and how it is made too. Try and experiment. Brew it longer, shorter, add things and then try another brand if that fails. It can be yummy and very good for you.
