I can see it now: Group Photo of Spunky Old Broads...Lime green and pink crocs, no bras, some are in PJ's, some are in sweats, some are in overalls, some have on straw hats. Is that a sock monkey I see! They are all absolutely beautiful and they are all friends in the warmest and kindest sense of the word and I am so proud to be part of the picture.
Three movies about spunky old broads: Shirley Valentine, Calendar Girls, and Saving Grace. I highly recommend these movies, I laugh everytime I see them and they also celebrate women who have finally grown into themselves.

Ok girls, I can't believe that you all was going out junkin' and didn't even let me know. And I was going to go get me some bright orange croc's and wear my striped knee socks, my knee hi plaid skirt and apron and my tank top and my raccoon neck scarf. Then I'd have to find a hat to finish off the outfit. And if your taking a picture I'm bringing my blue ribbon chocolate cake! But since you didn't invite me I'm going to sit here and eat the whole thing. Hope you had fun!!hahahaha

I tried to take a picture of my best spunky old broads outfit but my camera kept saying "not in focus"! I will put one on here but it will have to be later in the week. Gots lots of SOB things to do Monday and Tuesday.

I love "Calendar Girls! I just popped it in to watch again. I love Helen Mirren & Julie Walters.If anybody knows how to be Spunky Old Broads...it's the Bloody English. I just love 'em, from the Queen on down the line...nothing but Spunk!I like what that one husband said in that movie..."The flowers of Yorkshire are like the women of Yorkshire...every stage of their growth is more beautiful than their last.....but the last phase is always the most Glorious.......then very quickly they all go to seed!" lol All I can say is....We're going to need "Considerably Bigger Buns!!!  ....oh ya...and don't forget to wear a knitted tea cozy on your head!

I don't know how I missed all this whole month of not looking at this post. I have totally enjoyed reading every page. Ya'll are hilarious! And I guess I would qualify as a SOB, too. I'm 51. And I have a bright blue pair of garden croc type shoes that fart. Yes, they fart. (I hope that's ok to say this here. But I am a SOB) And I wear them all over. Even to town. My grand, Kansas, has a fit. She's the one that calls them farting shoes. I have gotten a few strange looks. But I love them. And I never wear a bra anymore. Why bother? I hope ya'll all had a great month. And I can't believe this is the last day of Feb.
