Is this a Spunky thing? hmmm.....I always give my mom a hug when I walk in and when I leave her place. Today I picked her up at her curb. So when we got back to the house I gave her about 6 hugs, one after the other. We said, "Who knows when we'll see each other again.They are calling for about 3 more inches of snow and bone-chillin cold,So let's get 'em all in now!!!" lolol We were laughing so hard from our own silliness we were snortin. Ya....I'd call that a "SpunkyOlsGirls" Thang!!! We have lots of fun!!

Judy I love how you and your mom can have so much fun and laugh till your snortin!!! Mom and I do that also and who knows where we'll start crackin up. People look at you kind of like that movie When Harry met Sally, "I want what shes got". Laughter is contagious and the on-lookers can't keep from laughing. So glad you had a nice day and added another wonderful memorie to your list. You are a Hoot! I like your humor!!

You wonderful spunky farmgals!!! I have tears in my eyes from all the fun comments in here. I died (I corrected the spelling, I had dyed, must have been thinking of my.....) laughing! I really needed the boost. I often think I am not very spunky and then I do some crazy thing like fly in a microlight over Victoria Falls but I think what makes me spunky is that when I 'leave home' to do errands, I wear my bright lime green crocs! A lady spotted them at the post office and kinda' chuckled and said, nice shoes. And I thought, she's right! I have a sense of humor with these on. So yesterday, I put on my best black sweats, matching jacket and hot lime crocs and left home! It is only a little thing but it makes me feel better! You know, like the old (63) spunky lady that I am. I am seriously believing that getting old is a lot of fun!! I can do whatever I want and get away with it!!!!

Thanks Brenda. Ma and I have a lot of fun together. I'm glad you and your Ma can "Snicker'n Snort" together too. Good for you farmgal! It don't cost a thing to feel good and show it....(yet)!
Karen, I would have loved to have seen you in that outfit. You go girl! Green Crocs sound cool. Whatever makes you giggle.....then maybe others will giggle too. Hey, Maybe we can have a month where we can try and make someone giggle each day and make this a happier(gigglier...is a word, yes?)world. We all need more giggles...don't ya think?? ;-)

I have the hot pink crocs and wear them proudly and I must say, a bit defiantly ! I wear them with a straw hat all summer! oh...and I wear clothing too

Well . . . my "S.O.B." Farmgirl Friends . . . how did YOU celebrate today!!!!
I ignored my mirror . . . didn't wear my you-know-what . . . wore holey (in a ? location) sweats, loud pink boot socks and red jacket for my "wog" (power walk/jog - which I do every day I'm not at work).
And, my neighbors still wave at me . . . . gotta love 'em!!!
We're running out of official month to celebrate, but I say we figure out a way to carry the "S.O.B." torch beyond February!!!!
YAY to us!!!!

Boy CJ, you've got those neighbors of yours "snowed!" lololol You could probably do anything around there and get away with it. Toooo funny. Wanna hear what I did? I stayed in my jammers all day. YES I DID!!! AND I walked out on my porch to get the mail in them, and my robe and my 3 pair of socks and slippers....oh....and my new Farmgirl Necklace, that just came today. (what!!!hey...if they're gonna find my stiff, frozen body...don't ya think I want them to know what organization to blame this kind of "Spunk" on??? I sure do!) lolololoo

Guuuuurl....it's cold today...I'd wear more socks if I could still get my slippers on!hahahah. One day I wore my husbands slippers to go down in the basement, I had so many socks on. Oh...the necklace stood out all right...seeing as how I put wooden beads on the chain to MAKE it stand out purty. Hey...I paid for it...so...I get to decorate it. LOLOLOL I am a TRUE SpunkyOldBroad!!!
My neighbor wears his crocs out to clean snow off of his stoop...I mean ... after all...they have to be warm, right? They are plush lined! lol Cracked me up when I saw him pushing snow in crocs!

Well, I was hoping to stay home when the bad weather moved in and knit on the baby blanket today, but the weather never happened, so I am at work. Will be heading to AR after this to visit the boys and their kids and return on Sunday. It's a great life, if you don't weaken. Actually, I really enjoy visitng out there.
