Gelatine comes from cooking down animal bones. I called the Jell-o company a couple of years ago to verify whether or not they use pork as I was getting sick from pork products. Sure enough my migraines after eating Jell-o were because of the pork gelatin used. Their corporate office verified it.
I was recently in the hospital and one of my nurses incouraged me to eat the jello...she said it was animal friendly...that was the first I'd ever heard of it! Have any of you tried MJ's chill powder? Is it the same? I just received my first box!
Happiness is homemade...

Lisa- I hate to say it but I don't think your nurse was right.
I have tried the chill-over and I love it. It does have a slightly different texture and of course the flavors are real not the boxed manufactured flavors so that is a little different too- but I really enjoy the chillover.
