I would love it if some of you could lift up a prayer for my DD. She started having to pay child support for her 2 oldest kids a few months ago. Long story. But she is being taken to court Monday morning by child support recovery. She has been paying it and has proof for the 2 months. But she gave the money order straight to the x.

So I don't know what's going to happen. She's so afraid they'll put her in jail. Which is to me the stupedest thing they could do. That does not make any sense to me at all. But she really needs prayer. She has a 6 year old and if she does have to go to jail, I will have her. So I might need some prayer, too!

Thank you all so much. I know this will help.

Kris

I will pray for her. I can't imagine if she has proof of the payments to the X that there are any grounds to put her in jail. Was she not supposed to give the MO straight to the X? Poor thing, sounds like she is being swindled. I pray all turns out well for you and your daughter. *hugs*

Kris:
I will say a rosary for your daughter. I try to walk everyday and when I do, I say a rosary for someone who needs prayers. God Bless.

Thanks so much. I think in the state of Ga. paople are supposed to pay Child Support Recovery then they pay the parent. I told het that but she said she never heard a thing from her lawyer. I told her to call and find out. But that's what my sister's x had to do. That way they have a record that the money is being paid each month. I don't know how other staes do it but I think that's really the best way to do it. That way there is proof and they can't say they never got any money. Which her x is not the blame here. It's CSR doing this. So who knows what will happen. I hate courtrooms. Never have been for myself but way too many times with these 2 daughters.

So thanks so much for the prayers. However you pray is good. I know we are all different, so anything is appreciated.

Kris, I will keep you both in prayer. Do you know if the x is going to court with them? If he tells them she gave it to him she should be ok if not she may have to pay it all over again unless she paid my check. But I will be praying for Gods guidance on the judge so he will see things clearly.
Also want to thank you so much for all the goodies and furniture you sent us home with, I cannot say enough thank you's. Blessings,Karen!

My step-daughter is going through the same thing. Her ex wants to pay her directly but we told her not to accept any money from him an I told him he needs to set it up with the courts. My brother always paid the courts and they paided his ex that way she can't scream your dads not paying me. Instead she gets to yell the courts are slow which sounds better to children. Plus the courts will check once a year to make sure everything is still good and they don't have to go back to court which cost her dad over $2000.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

They did not throw her in jail! But she will be having money taken out of her checks now each week. Which is a good thing because she won't have to keep up with it now. Which is a good thing for her because she can't seem to hold on to things.

So thank you all so much for the prayers and good thoughts. I really means alot to us. I don't know why this has to be so complicated but it is.

Karen, it was so fun meeting you and your hubby. I hope we can get together again.

Kris
