Has anybody but me experienced a problem with opening/closing forums the last couple of days? It takes forever for an item to open and/or close. Used to be almost immediate.
Thanks! Luanne

Not sure what to say at the moment about that. I've been experiencing hanginess in my usual browser (Firefox), but I think it's specific to this instance and could use a restart when I'm able. It seems to me a few things about our web server have been having issues (including FTP uploads). But on a different computer right next to me, different browser (IE8), the Chatroom seemed to upload reasonably speedily/nothing unusual. I could see about restarting the server, but I'm not entirely sure that would resolve any slowness. Could be lots of traffic... glancing at the stats, they show nothing unusual or even very high yet for a Thursday or for yesterday, Wednesday. Cookies could always be an issue, but that usually relates more to holding your login; and deleting all temporary internet files will probably make loading slower, since everything will have to reload - although there's always the possibility that something hanging around in there is causing issues.
So, as you can see, I'm lots of help. I can see about the server's status, though. |

Hi Gabe -
I don't know what you did, but it seems to be working great this AM.
Thanks! Luanne
