even though i've been sick for 2 weeks and finally went to the doctor this morning, i managed to make stew in the fireplace last night.

ok you have my attention. we are wet cold dreary cloudy dark here. stew would be yummy. tomorrow i shall cook it on top of the wood stove in my cast iron kettle. thanks for the inspiration sherrye.
