Are there such things as Amish blogs? Or at least blogs that tell about daily Amish life, cooking etc??

I have been looking but can't find what I mean, duh.

Thanks for any link :)

Hey Dutchy!

I don't know that an actual Amish person would be posting those, since their lifestyle/religion forbids the use of electricity! (modern world things are pretty much shunned).

However, the Memenonites are somewhat the same but do use electricity. At the same time, I have no idea if such a blog may exist.

Oops! I also wanted to mention that I like this woman's blog, I don't think she is either Amish or Memenonite but she seems to have very similar ideas, views, recipes...etc

Thanks Zan. I know the Amish them selves would not write on a blog etc. But just a blog ABOUT their lifestyle etc. Will check your link, and look for Mennonite ones, maybe they are a little "easier" to find

Hi Dutchy! I have followed this blog over the last couple of years on and off. Peggy is married to a man that was Amish.

www.plainhomesteading.blogspot.com is a good one I just found. I was doing the very same thing the other day. And I found another one I think called the farmer's wife.

I know alot of people are very interested in the amish. I was raised around amish and mennonites. I went to a mennonite church as a young girl. And I know have alot of amish friends.
If any of you would ever want to come over for coffee and ask questions we could plan that. I have one friend who is not against answering most questions[she asks alot too anout army and so on]. So come on over, we can all chat!
