never heard of it. I'd be interested in looking at it if you put up the web address.

Hmm interesting. We're in our local Goodwill monthly to check out what's new. Didn't know they had a website.

| I have used shopgoodwill.com. It's a very neat site. Shipping anywhere is really costly. I usually can guess how much shipping will be. So, if I find something to bid on I set a $ amount and include the shipping in that $ amount. The trick is not to go above that amount on bidding. Sometimes I lose the bid because of my set $ amount. But then sometimes I get the bid and that is really a great feeling. Good luck shopping. |

I love ShopGoodwill.com :} The shipping varies depending on which store is sending it, but so far I've gotten a terrific double thermos picnic set, a 50s hand-crank salad master, little vintage flower napkin rings, and a very pretty chip and dip dish shaped like a lily pad.
I do agree with Pat, though; if I didn't stick to my initial price cap, I'm sure I'd be tempted to spend a fortune :} There are a lot of good deals though. They have a lot of the features of other auction sites, and I feel good knowing I'm supporting Goodwill.

I don't use the Goodwill site because I can't try on the clothes I'm tall and women's clothes never seem to be made for me [ever have the back of your shirt ride up when you're outside working in the cold? Burr!]. I noticed that the cool antiques and affordable rare stuff disappeared out of our local Goodwill when I was in Apache Junction, AZ. One of the clerks told me everything was on the web site. It's not a thrift store if things cost as much as they do in an antique shop... Carla

Most of the items I've gotten through the site are $5 or less. Maybe just because I like stuff no one else likes! haha :}
