Maybe this is not the correct place to ask this, but just wondered which browser do you use for internet? I used to have Google Chrome, and loved it. But lately there has been a big glitch and I can't open it anymore, duh. SO deleted it and now use Firefox which is oke (IMO better than IE. Quicker) But am not completely satisfied with it and just wondered what browser do you use, any info is appreciated. I am now looking into Safari, does anyone use that?? OH and I am using a regular puter with Windows XP, no Mac or Vista duh.
Thanks gals

I use Firefox and am pretty happy with it, but perhaps that is because I have used it for years and am used to it. I pretty much refuse to use IE. Sometimes there are pages that won't open because they require me to use IE and I just end up not going to those pages.
I have heard great things about Safari. But I have also heard great things about Chrome and it sounds like you are having issues with that. ?
What about Firefox is not satisfying you?

Rhonda, it is nothing dramatic lol. Just was trying to look into something else to be honest. I DID download Safari but can't quite get the hang of it yet. Still using Firefox and I think I will keep it for the time being. Nope IE is not my fave AT ALL. Indeed pages take SO long to download duh!!!
Chrome was my alltime fave but somehow it contracted a virus and it just doesn't work anymore so deleted it alltogether.
Ah well, there are worse things lol.

I am surrounded by a group of computer geeks, Husband was the "expert" for his company, daughter is a graphics designer and web-designer, SIL is an IT expert for his college. Other daughter is a SLIS major and is learning how to do Libraries on line. All of them will only use firefox. We keep IE for the pages that won't open up without it.

I use Firefox, and my fiance won't use anything else! But if you liked your Google Chrome, you should be able to reinstall it if you've completely wiped it off your computer, and once it's back on there it should work fine... I need to do that with IE on my computer, for some reason it's all gummed up. But I'm content with Firefox at the moment. :)

We just stopped using IE too & have started using Firefox. I like it so far, takes getting used to. When my computer locks up (usually while on FB) & I try to close 1 browser (if I have more than 1 open minimized) it closes them all. I do like the fact that when you open your browser again that it usually gives you the choice to only open what you need. Thing I cant stand about a lot of web pages now is all of the moving ads that take up more memory & bandwith. If I'm interested in your product & click on your link, animate away, but all it does when I see it on a page when I am not interested, is turn me away. Too much going on. Same things with those ads that take up the page & you have to find the close on them. |

Kelly that is one of the reasons I just dislike IE. I have decided to stick with Firefox. After weighing the options of others saw that for me it is still the best. Thanks for the input girls :)
