HOW CUTE!!!! did you just cut them off and crochet around the bottom, or did you serge the raw edge?

Hi Terri I cut them off..i am using knited sweaters.... then taking connfetti dot or eyelash yarns and go around the edges with a single crochet. When doing it ... go down couple stitches below the cut..then the single crochet seals it right off..wont come undone at all..

HI sheila..actually i was freezing :) I wanted leg warmers but had no extra money..but had a pile of old sweaters ..worked out quite well.
