I have 7 rolls of toilet paper right now. I usually have several packs of the jumbo rolls. I feel like panicking. I don't know how that happened. But I'll go to town Monday. And the chocolate. What a great idea. I always have to have something sweet every day. I would probably go crazy if I were snowed in without that.

Here in NC they do the same thing
CRAZY!
I'm an Ohio gal and don't tend tp "panic" unless it's over 2 or 3 FEET! (rare in these parts)

Nevermind the food, we hurry to stockpile wood!

I forgot to mention that here in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin the stores that carry shovels and ice melter are the only ones with empty shelves. We just got through a couple of really big storms, but I just go to my pantry and look at all the beautiful rows of jars full of my summer bounty and then have a sigh of relief. Oh wait, how much toilet paper have I got? LOL

Why not go out on a limb, that's where all the fruit is! "Mark Twain"

Although I don't live in the Mid-West any longer
we live in Florida...Any time I hear the S---word,
I freak out. So Now I hear the H---word and freak
out again. Anyone that comes to my House knows if
we have some kind of devastational event...we're
the "It House." Pantry stocked and ready...
I think it was growing up with parents from the
depression & knowing sometimes you need to depend
on that stocked pantry. I go to the Farmers Market
regularly and what they have an abundance of I buy and
put in my 15 tray dehydrator. All of our friends
& family under the Umbrella.

My daughter told me if anything happens they are heading here cause we have the wood stove and the stock pile of canned food as well.
