I am going stir crazy with missing my yard and estate sales, lol!!! It will be a few months yet before they start!
We have a nice big antique store right up the road and I do go there often, but mostly their prices are too high.
I need a good thrift store! How do you find them? Are they labeled as such? All we really have around here is the Salvation Army. And, they mostly sell junk. I think they send the best things to the cities, because it's been a long time since I've found anything good in one around me.
So, maybe we don't have thrift stores in my area- I don't know, but I wish I could find one! :)

HERE they are labeled as "2nd hand or thrift store or used goods" etc. NO idea how it is in the USA though :)

Here's another site if you like yard sales - I think these are the sales that are listed on craigslist - just put in your zip code and it gives you a map with the sales marked.

Sometimes if you go to an antique store they give you a little newspaper that all the antique stores get in the area and in that news paper are listed thrift stores and Antique stores through out the whole state or area that they are located. There are also cool little recipes and craft instructions. I love these news papers and always pass them on to my Grandma whom in turn passes them to my aunts lol.

Brenda, my Grandma's church has some kind of thrift store thing, I think it's maybe just one day a week (or maybe she just works at it one day a week)--at the North Rose Methodist church--have you been to that one? I'm not sure if it's just clothing or ??? Don't know.
