I often change it, depending on my mood-the season or just for fun. Do you?? What do YOU have on your desktop ??

I have just uploaded a special one that I took this morning on our way to church. It is from the little park at the end of my street:

I have a closeup photo of a sunflower with a bee that I took this summer! I love winter, but I also love seeing the bright sun shinny yellow on my computer every day! Plus, it's an awesome photo and I love looking at it!

I have a pic of our back-yard, big fir tree, covered in snow. I took it last winter.I really should put something warmer on here. It was only 14 when DH got up this morning. 16 when I crawled, whining, off from under the covers. It's going to be a high of 20 today. Yippeeee. *where did I put my bikini*

I took mine from the picture Laura from Kentucky had on her post Winter Wonderland. It's a snow picture. It makes me cold to look at it but it's pretty. But gosh, I think I'm going to have to change it to a picture of warmer weather. Or maybe a fireplace. Oh yeah, that sounds good. With some hot peppers hanging from it. Anything hot right now sounds good.

Karrieann, your dog is so cute.

I do what you do Marian. Just take any picture I like and put it up there. Usually one I have taken. Sometimes I ask other bloggers if I could use one for my background---I always have gotten a yes. Right now I have a sepia toned one I did of Mt. Baker. I also posted that one on my day4plus blog. MB

I have a picture of my gelding Colonel Montgomery Dunbar appearing in his first Parade last September. He was a rescue and when I met him he was skin and bones. He is looking pretty spiffy now. We had a really good time that day.

I should have said that all the horses in that photo are rescues.

Hi Marian:
Good post! I have a picture of my first ever cat, Henry Dragon. He was a tuxedo cat, and such a handsome gentleman. He loved me unconditionally. I loved that cat, and I will always love that cat. He was a gentle soul.

I get surprises all the time. My husband takes pictures of my flower gardens and ponds all spring and summer and also pics of when we go on vacation. So he keeps changing them and surprising me I love it. Right now its a picture of the mountains in Vermont with the sun coming up, it is really pretty.

I change mine all the time, usually it's the favorite of the week. However, for the past 5 months, I have had a big family picture taken from my 50th birthday party!
I am about to change it though, and then I will alternate between the two families of grandchildren.

Mine is a pond shot with all my ducks floating on the water. Uh, well, the ducks I used to have, anyway. Seems we have an otter in our pond, feasting on our babies. Trust me ladies. This means war!

I put one of my pics from Africa on it. I'll probably change it out for others later. Some of you have opened new avenues for me. I will have to try some of them. Thanks.

I like to switch mine around too. Sometimes it's my kids or pics I've taken. Right now though, I'm feeling a need for a cabin in the woods. So it's a "winter cabin" with a nice front porch; incl. rocker. The porch light is on and welcoming. There's a tall pine out front with holiday lights glowing and peeking out from about 4 in of snow. Makes me feel like the fireplace is glowing warm inside and the coffee's on waiting for someone to stop by for a cup and a few choc chip cookies. :-)

Extra room for me too T??

All your desktops sound (and look) cute.
Thanks gals for sharing. This was a question I sometimes posted on another BB I used to belong to, and thought to do the same here. Just curious, lol ;)
