OK ladies, I am sure you all know this. However, when I presented this question to my family and Sunday School class they did not know it. SO here it is

Who is the original to claim "The Sky is Falling!! The Sky is Falling!!"

HENNY PENNY - was who I was thinking but I was shown there was someone BC time that claimed it FIRST
I should of asked "Who was the Original Chicken to claim the sky is falling" It is an old bedtime story by Joseph Jacob. Geez, I think that would cause nightmares At the end of the story Henny Penny's friends get eaten by Foxy Loxy but Henny Penny runs away and livedYAY!

ok, Judy I never heard of that one But 1badmamawolf got it right with Henny Penny. It is an old bedtime story by Joseph Jacob. Geez, I think that would cause nightmares At the end of the story Henny Penny's friends get eaten by Foxy Loxy but Henny Penny runs away and lived

I would have guessed Chicken Little.

You all know, if you go back and read all the old time bedtime stories and nursery rhymns, most of them are kinda scary, and so I've been told its because, they were told to wee ones to scare them into staying in bed, lol. But I'm sure mostly what it caused were "nightmares".
