Well, not too late. We (ok I!) was waiting for the mailman to arrive. I had ordered a new purse. It was a freebie for me. It was after 5:00 and no mail had arrived yet. My husband jokingly said I was obsessed with this "mail thing". Our daughters laughed because usually it's them who run for the mail to see what Christmas cards we received.
Around 7:00 I hear the crunching of snow on our porch. I lookout side and see a masked man on the porch with a head lamp on. It was the mail man! It was seriously cold last night. 7 degrees! Way late for him to be delivering mail!
Of course I rushed to the door. No purse! The hubby laughs. But there was a stack of mail in there. A pile of magazines AND....
The new Mary Janes magazine! I yelled JACKPOT! They thought I had my purse - No I yelled - better! And showed them. Way to late to read last night. (I did peek through!) I can't wait to cuddle up with my coffee and hunker down with it. I was so excited to get it. What a way to start the new year.
A great New Year's present!

I got mine a few days ago. It's a good one. A whole article on one of our own, Zan Asha from NY. Really good article. I am so impressed with her. I had to read that one first but have been skimming through.
Glad you got yours. I hope you get that purse Monday.

Know what you mean about the mail, I too admit to being rather obsessed with it. I order things just to be sure I have something good coming. Hope your purse comes soon, and hope my magazine comes soon.

So I know exactly what you are saying about the mail delivery. For me it's the UPS Truck. I know the sound of it coming down the road, the sound when it stops and when it starts back up again. hahaha I'm like "Pavlov's dogs!" hahahahah...well...I sort of drool....lololol...ya...I'm a gonner!

I love getting mail, too. The other day I was expecting the Fed Ex truck. Kansas was looking out the window when he came and she said the Fed E X truck is here. I just laughed so hard the way she said it. Not ex but e x. She's so silly.

Oh, oh, oh! The new issue is out??!!! I'm so excited! I can't wait to get it! It will be my first issue as a paid subscriber!! I just hope they finally got my payment straight, I mailed it out a looong time ago, but then got another bill lately. May have to call them if I don't hear anything soon. I hope you enjoy it Deb. And Kris, being from NY I can't wait to read an article from Zan!
