Hi everyone!

I'm from Kentucky. I'm married and have 4 children.
We live on a farm. We've had animals in the past but nothing now.
We are in the process of getting animals.

I'm really glad to have found this site. I have one of Mary Janes
books before I found the site, I find this funny. The back of
the book caught my attention.

I can't wait to meet everyone and make some friends.

Welcome! I just joined this week too! We live in FL near Tampa, but lived in WV for 5 years before moving down here.

This site is awesome, I love it so far! :)

The end will justify the pain it took to get us here.

My hubby is from Elkview, near Charleston. We lived near there for about 3 years, and then in Milton for the last 2. We moved to Florida because of an open position here and love so much we moved away and then came back! LOL

The end will justify the pain it took to get us here.

Hi, Frontier Lady,

Welcome to the farmgirl forum. Can't wait to hear about your family and your farm. Have you always lived in KY? What are the ages of your children? I, too, have 4 children, although they are all grown and on their own, we are now starting on the grandchildren chapter of our lives. We never got over to Lexington, but for about 2 years our youngest son lived in Louisville while attending Sullivan university. We loved the drive over from St. Louis it was very pleasant and not boring at all.

Well, I hope you enjoy your visits and new friendships as you make yourself familiar with the forum. I think you will be very glad you decided to check it out, everyone here is very kind and generous with their thoughts, prayers, expertise and little surprises. It's a lot of fun and they all feel like family.

I'm glad you joined. Blessings to you and your family.

In His hands,
Lynda L.

Pray in faith and you will not live in doubt.

Hi there! This is my first chat room also. I'm from Southwest Colorado with 2 grown daughters, a grand son, and the best partner you could ever want to snuggle up to! We have a small ranch with bunches of horses and mules. I have a small garden and eventually want to be able to grow all my own groceries. I'm please to meet all of you.

We didn't choose 5 years apart, it chose us.

My husband said "Look at it this way, we'll be able to pay for college!"
