I thought it might be fun to volunteer some time at a goat rescue site located in Western Washington and I wanted to invite any local farmgirls to join in with me. I'm contacting the owner for information, which I'll post when it comes in. If anyone is interested to joining in, let me know. I also thought it could make a good ongoing project for the new chapter, Bees in Our Bonnets in the 'Burbs.

(psst, join the chapter and you might just get a little something special sent to you)

I have the information, if anyone is interested. I'm going to go toward the end of January. It's a two hour time commitment, which isn't much and you get to spend part of that time just hanging out with the goats (including some babies!).

I love goats! I want goats! Hubby won't let me have goats! Not yet! Anyway, what all do you have to do?

Oooh, goody! Another goat lover. :-) I sent you an email but for anyone else - it's two hours of tending to the goats, petting, walking, etc. The owner did say that those afraid to get dirty might want to think about it because we would be helping out in their barn area. I think it sounds like a lot of fun and a chance to hang out with some baby goats.

OMG! ok you two will have a blast...
My daughter has 5 goats & 1 sheep and they are all such characters...with the funniest personalities.
She & hubby even take them (goats & sheep) for walks,,,off leash....she just calls them and they heard themselves right back to her.
But feeding time is the best....talk about antics..the littlest one, HeeHaw is such a piglet.....and goes from bowl to bowl,,,making sure the others don't have something he doesn't have.
I have a few pics of them on my blog if you want to take a peek...just scroll down.
Kim, I think you & Kristen are doing a wonderful thing helping out at the goat rescue.
Hugz to ya both.
