I've been reading this book. I don't have it right with me but I think the author is (something) Pease.
Anyway, I'm about 3/4th of the way through and what I have learned!!
Finally, validation from a recognized source that the way my hubby's family treats me is the absolute worst!! Their body language says that I'm not worthy or worth it to them. Even the way hubby does things, I've noticed some discrepancies...and called him on it. He's kind of nervous about it, you can tell!!
I've looked at myself very critically and not happy with all I've seen. I've gone to the point of looking at certain 'friends' and my gut feelings have been right about them. 'Friends' that my hubby told me were OK people but I didn't ever trust them totally, just a feeling. Know I know WHY!
It is incredible to learn to look at microexpressions and the things your body does that you CAN'T stop/control, it's automatic. Such as dilation of your pupils.
It's easier to lie over the phone or through email than in person. So, in this day of 'puters, you never really know what the other person is thinking, you can't see them. Words mean nothing by themselves...as I have found out the hard way....
It's a great book to read and pretty quick too. Written in layman's terms, not scientific jargonese.

I'm on the chapter about hands.
