Technical Support: Changed email address, but only half are changed!  |

What I mean to say is: Yesterday I changed my email address to a brand, spanking new one because I was not getting all my emails from farm girls and they weren't getting mine! All seemed to be working fine until I noticed that when there is a new posting to a forum I am following it was going to my old email address. And the new cluck went to my old email address. Well, I thought, maybe the forum is different than the actual website. But, just a little while ago, I received an email from someone who had clicked on "send an email to LakeOntarioFarmgirl" from my profile. I would like to have this fixed, because I plan on deleting my old email account, but don't want to miss out on anything! Oh, and I have been receiving email from farm girls at my new email address all day, so I know that works. Any ideas what to do? Thanks!

Mmmm... no good ideas on the Chatroom message. The Cluck was sent to the old one because we need to receive your email here directly, due to certain limitations on our end for linking everything together. I have to update your Sisterhood email address manually, even if you updated any Blog Alerts or other email lists you're on.
So we've got that one covered now. Just make sure the email address on your Chatroom profile is your current, new email address. If everything Chatroom is going to your old email address, then it's because you'll need to update your Chatroom profile, also, methinks. If you have, but everything is still going to your old address, then perhaps we'll need to do some sort of forced refresh of the database/Chatroom variables (more than you wanted to know, I'm sure; just bear with me).

So I went to change my email for the hen house profile, and this is what I got:

Oh. I'm a little slow in getting to reading this. I just suggested that about the Henhouses, too. I looked and if you were trying to change it, LakeOntarioFarmgirl, then you were successful. You have your correct, new email address on your Henhouse account. I've seen that error before. Can't remember where. Apparently it didn't affect what you were trying to do.
