I would give his mom a hug. I've always wondered since he knew his purpose as a child did he know his mom would have to witness such torture of her boy.

I would have given him a little cuddle while Mary rested (he was a baby after all, I have to cuddle babies =)) and a warm soft blankie! I would have shown him how to smile =) Smiles are precious.

It's funny, but the first thing I thought of was a balnket. I didn't post it because I was not sure if this was the kind of thing that you were looking for. I sure got a smile on my face when I saw Jeannie and Diane post what I thought of. I just thought he always looked like he must of been cold.

What a wonderful post. I would give Him my time without any limit. That seems so small after what He has done for me.
I love all the things you have posted--- |

I think I would have brought a little oil lamp, some oil for it, firewood, dried food, and some money. Jesus' family was poor, young, out of town, in a cave, in the winter, delivering their first baby! What a trying situation, requiring faith. And who are the instruments of Gods' help but us? We can still give to Christ when we give to the least of his bretheren, now. This is good to know.
