Hi Valerie, this book has long been out of print if it's the one I'm thinking you're referring to...the one written by the Robinsons?? Mother Earth News Mag. reprinted a good amount of it in Issue #2 and you can print it from their archives.

It is the one you are thinking of. I figured it was out of print but I thought I would try. I did find a copy on ebay and it no one from here has one they no longer want I will go that route. Thank you for letting me know about it being in Mother Earth News. I will check that out. I love that magazine.

I recently ordered a new copy from Amazon.com - I really did. I just love it and have a copy, but, I'm sorry to say, I just can't bring myself to part with it! If you can't find what you need form the ME News reprints, you can try ordering it from Amazon for $9.95 (it's the 1973 version by the Robinsons, so I'm sure it's the one you're looking for). What a great resource it is - I really want to modify their barn plan for our property...

My library has copies still. You might check with yours first and see if they do, too!

That is the one I have too. I think Lehmans has it for sale and possibly the Backwoods Home Magazine online bookstore on their site. I have seen it for sale somewhere recently. It is well worth having. I wish I had a second one I could send to you!!

I've searched the libraries around here for a copy and couldn't find it, so I just ordered a new copy from Amazon (under the new/used icon) for $6.35. If you don't get the one on ebay, you might want to try there. Good luck!
