Morning All,

I went to Skokie, IL last night with a friend for Ree Drummonds book signing.

I figured it would be an intimate little affair...WRONG! There were over 300 people there! It was amazing.

She spoke for a bit and then got down to the business of signing books. Marlboro Man and 2 of their kids were there as well.

They even gave out these awesome t-shirts to everyone that came.

I bailed after a half an hour but I said hello to Marlboro Man, who is just soooo gorgeous!

More details of the event on my blog. If you get a chance go see Ree, it's worth the trip!

Linda,
Sounds like so much fun. I will have to check their website and see if they are going to be in our area.

I can't wait to see her when she come to Houston. Anyone else going? She will be here Dec.5th. Maybe we could get together. My friend Cheryl was going to go with me but she is still really sick but getting better.

I missed the one here. I was in line and she was due in 15 minutes, then my DD & DH started calling up complaining about how hungry they were and I need to come home so we can go eat (at CiCi's, for pizza). Needless to say, I was really upset, but the line was really, really long, so I would have been late getting out. I still have the cookbook, though, and it is wonderful.

I was just in the book store today and picked a copy up for myself. How exciting! I can't wait to sit down and start reading through it! How fun that would be to go to a book signing!

It was great fun girls but a word to the wise...

Go VERY early if you want your book(s) signed. It took a over and hour to get through the first 25 people and there were over 300 there! Cool for her, bad for my bladder! LOL!
