I know this has probably been talked about somewhere, but I'm not sure when and where. I was wondering if anyone had any new Christmas Book Titles that you could share.

The only one I know of right now is the one by Mike Huckabee.I think its called A SIMPLE CHRISTMAS".

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Did you read Huckabee's book, "A Simple Christmas"? I like him. Just wondering if the book was good.

I just bought and read An Amish Christmas - it was 3 stores in one book, but they were all based on the same family. I really enjoyed it. Got it at K-Mart.

Hi Marly. No, I haven't read "A Simple Christmas" yet. I hope to get it next week. I think its a collection of his own childhood memories and it should be good. In addition to his book I was looking one of those detailed novels all about Christmas in the country. Should be easy to find ....right. LOL Well, I'm sure if one is out there the farmgirls will know.

Hi Luanne. I'll look for "An Amish Christmas" when I go to town too. Thanks for the info.

One of my favourite book sites is www.christianbook.com and if you search for "Christmas fiction" you'll get tons of matches!

Happy reading,

I thought this post was going to be lost for sure. Thanks Lori. I bookmarked the site. Did you take a look at the Christmas cards there? They are beautiful!

I know, I love so many things at their site. Did you see the deal on the Christmas surprise pack--9 books for 9.99?

I just put up a display of Christmas fiction at the library where I work, with some nice books by Richard Paul Evans and Donna VanLiere, to name a couple.

Don't forget about your local library!

I just love a good library! The problem here is the library is not really very good. The one where we came from was really excellent. The Christmas special looks great!!! Now tha you mentioned Richard Paul Evans ..... it comes to mind that I just recommended one of his books "Finding Noel" to a good friend.

One of my favorite Christmas books is "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." It is actually a children's book, but it has such a good message that adults like it also. It is short and there is a video which has Loretta Switt in it which is very faithful to the book. Check it out! coffeemom

That's great--it's a wonderful site, and I use it a lot at the library, too!

I just started "The Christmas Sweater" by Glenn Beck, and it's really good!

Whew! Finally got mine out today!!!
A Family Christmas by Caroline Kennedy is a lovely collection of poems, scriptures and stories.

The Greatest Christmas Stories of all Time. Is also a collection, I must say it's my favorite

I read Christmas in Canaan a few years back. I really liked it and see it is now a movie on Hallmark I believe.

I just found a book I picked up at a Thrift shop this year, Follow the Star: Christmas Stories that Changed My Life by TD Jakes. I think I'll start it tonight!

My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Luke 1:46,47

One of my favorites is "Christmas with Anne (and other holiday stories)". It is a collection of short holiday stories by LM. Montgomery. There are 16 stories, and I read one a day up till Christmas.

Hi everybody!

Over on the barter forum I have a copy of Cindy Woodsmall's Sound of Sleighbells. It is a good Amish fiction book if any of you are interested.

Thanks!
