Yes, I am recieving a copy of her new cookbook as a birthday gift! I'm so excited, as I LOVE most of her recipes. Any other farmgirls expecting her cookbook? I wanted to go have her sign it when she was in TN, but it looks like that's not going to happen... :(

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.

I'm asking for it for Christmas! It just looks wonderful. Making her recipe for red pepper risotto this week for dinner, too :)

Nope, not a Mary Jane book...Ree Drummond is "the Pioneer Woman" and she's a hoot! I'll post a link and you can decide for yourself.

Oh, no . . . oooooh, noooo . . . how am I ever going to get ANYTHING done now??? Between the Farmgirl Connection and the Pioneer Woman, I'm going to be the computer all day!!! I love to take pictures and belong to a local camera club, so that part of her website really appeals to me.

Thanks for the info, tho . . .

Sorry about the housework, Carolyn :)

It's a wonderful website, and I really enjoy her wit. The pics are lovely, aren't they?

She inspires me in my photography.... the rural, outdoors, animals, ranch shots. I've been hooked for a while. Have you ever read her "Black heels to tractor wheels" story about her and her husband? OMG!

Got mine yesterday and have already ordered two extra copies to give as gifts. It is likely the best cookbook I have ever read! Love it!

Did anyone happen to catch her on the "Bonnie Hunt" show a week or two ago? TOO FUNNY!!! Some guy just popped out of the audience and helped himself to the stuff she had sitting on the counter! It was a HOOT!!!

I just got the cookbook today, I enjoy her site, she sure makes me laugh some days.
I have used some of her recipes and they are great, fattening for sure, but great.

The givaways on her site are unreal. She just gave away 2 sets of Le Creuset cookware in robin's egg blue. DOn't know how she does it bacause she always has a disclaimer about the brands that she is not compensated etc. Marlboro Man must do REAL GOOD.
Love her though & am debating whether I can wait till Christmas to get it. I think I need to "preview" it in order to decide if it is a worthy gift or not!

I think SHE does really good. She get over 50000 hits to her site daily and with all the ads and stuff I promise you she is raking it in! Good for her though!
