What a beautiful fall day here in Southern Indiana! The trees are gorgeous. Hubby and I are on our way to my favorite yarn shop Two Be Weavers. You can check it out at twobeweavers.com. I am in the process of knitting hats, so my knitting socks has taken a backseat for now. So I'll spend the day with some gorgeous fun fibers and my wonderful friend Julie. A wonderful ministry is in the works in honour and in memory of my beloved Mother. Knit hats for babies, soldiers and whoever else needs a helping hand. Knit blankies, afghans and shawls. If anyone would like to make donations of items please let me know. Julie from Two Be Weavers makes and donates wool hats and takes them to the homeless. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I'll be dropping off last months issue of Maryjanes magazine to Julie today so she can enjoy it and get to read my story on page 24. Love you girls and Happy Fall to you!
~~Blessings, Mikki Jo

Well I am going to do school, clean my room, help my mom, write some penpals, exercise, spend some time with my animals, brush our dog, maybe bake something if I get the time, and make some raw crakers. I think that should do it! Channah

Channah, I've been wanting to make the crackers from Maryjanes magazine but haven't yet. Picked out all my fabulous yarns! Can't wait to start the next hat! It will be a soft pink with a chocolate brim! A royal blue and chocolate one and a grey and white one. Then going to start a felted mini bag, new pattern of Julies. Sooo cute! She just told me she'll have a webstore soon! That will be exciting!

Right now it is over cast and foggy Yesterday was pretty here. I am doing laundry and thinking about making pumpkin whoopie cookies. I want to make beef stew for supper. I am knitting some pink socks out of baby sport yarn these are so soft. Also watching my soap Days of Our Lives. We have a yarn shop / but their yarn is really expensive as their other things. I did get to go to my local quilt shop yesterday Sounds like you are having a good time . Good for you. hugs sheila

Havin' fun in the kitchen today. I am making "lady fingers" for the kids at the Children's Emergency Shelter. They are shortbread cookies shaped like ladies' fingers, complete with red fingernails. The kids call them "Witch's fingers" and they are grotesquely realistic looking. Some of the kids won't even touch them. Fun Halloween stuff.
keep searchin'-it's out there somewhere. |

Because of the constant rain, rain, rain, I spent the day doing clothes washing, drying, saving, etc... and had the TV on the Haunted House channel. Well, I am so spooked right now. I do believe in ghost, but I can't watch too much of that kindof stuff on TV. LOL Marly
