Marjean--I'm sorry for taking so long to acknowledge your gift. Thank you for the lovely embroidered cloth. It will look nice on our table.
I think I would like to stop being farm friends for awhile. I can't seem to get it together and don't want one more thing. Thank you for all the special gifts. They have been used and appreciated.

Wahoo! My farm friend gift came today. Thank you so much Cris. It is lovely. I'm sitting a relaxing while reading each poem and admiring the pictures. My daughter will have a great time with this too.
It is so nice to get a hand written letter too. I used to love sending letters in the mail. I can't wait to sit down and write one to you.
I'm putting the last few things in a bag and then in a box and then off to the post.

Hay ya'll, Cathy, I am so glad you got a Farm Friend since I failed you miserably. I have a lot of apologies to make for not being a very good sister/friend (on several forums). Wedding, taxes, cattle sale, calves being born, sewing machine broke (now working) etc etc etc!!! I had to dump out thousands of emails because they were really piling up. But the main thing is that you have a new friend and she sounds like a really good one. So sorry I couldn't keep up. Life happened in a huge whirlwind kind of way. So sorry I disappointed you all.

Hello Farmgirl Friends! I am new to MJF and saw this topic and would love to participate. My home is here in north central Florida in the city so I don't have the farm part of Farmgirl except that I truly am a farmgirl at heart. I love making things, cooking, learning, reading and traveling. My girls are grown, husband retired but I am still working 30 hours a week. MJF is just the best concept and I am so excited about learning so many new things along with all of you. I purchased her Ideabook and have read it twice! If you don't have this, I suggest it to everyone because it is a great read and full of so many great ideas.

Hello to Sara and Winnie,
Since you are both new and need a partner it seems like a good idea for you two to join up and send to each other.
I can only handle so much and I lost my old farm friends and gained a wonderful lady, Cris. You can make this lots of fun and get to know a lot of wonderful women here on the forum.

I live in Deltona so I'm about 2 hours south of you. My husband's nephew just signed up at the University there.
I started a farmgirl co-op for those who sell and make handmade things and any farmgirl is welcome to join and support a good cause whether you buy or sell is up to you.

Hello Marsha- Thanks for answering my post and I would love to have Sara as a new Farm Girl buddy!! But, who is Sara and how do I find her? Can you be more specific? Also, I would love to learn more about your co=op so let me study the link and I will email you back. I make lots of handmade stuff and sometimes it sells on ebay but it would be fun to be a part of the farmgirl co-op too. Since we live so close, maybe we could meet half way for lunch someday? It would be great fun to actually meet a real MJF FarmGirl in person! Thanks again for checking in with me.
