I saw an ad in Mother Earth News that sure looked like Ohio Valley Natural Fibers (Sardinia, OH) was being sold. I only went there once (as it is several hours away) to have some wool processed into roving, but they really treated me well and were reasonably priced. I hope that if it IS sold, it will be to fiber lovers who continue to operate the equipment.

I know of the Wool place in Frankenmuth, MI - are there any other fiber processing mills around?

Are/were they solely a processing facility, or do they sell to the general public? I don't know of any processing mills, but I'm really not "in the loop" as far as these things are concerned.

Now, maybe if I can talk Aunt Jenny into selling me her lambs, (have you seen the photos? They are SOOooooo cute!) it would be a different story!
